Brahe is based in the Star Trek universe during a period of time following the conclusion of Star Trek: Picard. You don't need to know anything about Star Trek or its properties to join us, but it would probably help.

Occasionally, we run stories outside of the USS Brahe however, all stories run on our Discord server are in the scope of the same overarching universe.

We use this Wiki site to store static pages about characters, settings, or other reference materials relevant to our story.

We use [https://discord.com/|Discord] for all active role play and storytelling. All role play is conducted in chat as that best supports are geographically- and ability-diverse group. Stories are not conducted in real-time, instead following a nebulous “story time.” Our Discord server also features voice channels which can be used at the member's leisure.

Make sure to read the Game Rules. Although we're not a prudish group, we maintain a strict no Not Safe for Work policy. There are no exceptions to this rule. This includes graphic depictions of sex or violence. Broadly, the moderators follow the "I'll know it when I see it" doctrine. If you have to ask, “is this content appropriate,” the answer is probably “No,” but you can always check with a moderator.

You are not required to participate constantly, in real time, or within a certain period of time. However, Story Tellers (Game Masters) may keep the story moving if you don't respond after a time. Membership is not based on activity; however, active members tend to get pulled into more events because Story Tellers can count on them being present.

How often you participate is up to you. We won't boot you from the server for inactivity.
